Did you know...

... that I love drawing clothes? Who knew? Anyway here's quick doodle that I wanted to try to give more life to by putting some color in it. Try being the key word here :p Still some issues with photoshop. Practice makes perfect.

Lost and found.

Found this one looking through the mess that are my art files on the computer and remembered how I tried so hard to understand how I could make this work with a program I barely knew how to use.
I gave up mid try but looking back now I don't find it as awful as I did back then. So I'm giving it a chance. Even if it doesn't really honor poor Avril here.

Class project 4 - Eclair sur le Larousse

Instructions: Create a story including three main characters (person, animal, object...). Each character's story must influence the other stories. Also include these elements in their original order that will change the course of the story: an abrubt rainstorm, lightning and finally thunder. Technique: must be duo tone.

What I did was take a sequence from a longer story that I'm writing.
Enjoy.

Rawr

A sketch for my etching class.
Raaawr.

Animation for class project - Morichar

I tried my hand at stop motion last year for a project about the new square next to our school -it was to celebrate the inauguration of the 'Place Morichar'.
I can't say it was completely successful but for the effort, the hours and all the pain, here goes.
(music is 'Silence' by Aly and AJ (instrumental))

Class photography project - The Sacred

A small selection of my Sacred project from last year's photography course.
Me, myself to model.

Enjoy.

Discarded photography project - Zoephine

It's always suprising when you stumble upon old projects. As specially when they're ones that never came to a finish.
This one was a series of photographs for my photography course last year. I had presented them raw, without any modifications for my final project of the year but it got shot down before I could develop it.
One year later, here we are, I found the old folder, thought they still looked pretty good and finally finished the project. I named it 'Zoephine', a mixture of the models'names.

Shooting this was quite fun.
(ps: the photographs are styled as polaroids, frame and all -unfortunately the frame blends in with the background...)
